General Descriptions
The DC Dragon Boat practices at a lively waterfront in SW DC, with
plenty of restaurants, a busy seafood market, and a few bars within
walking distance of the practice site.
Walk a couple
more miles or hop on the metro for a swift ride and you are in the
middle of the National Mall.
We will continue to update this
page more toward the beginning of the 2009 season, so that members and
guests will be well informed and can make a fully worthwhile trip along
the way to and from the DC Dragon Boat Club.
See the detailed
tourist map below for the area's points of interest.
Trace 7th
Street down toward the Waterfront, and we are just right at the Arena
Stage Marker on the map, between 6-7th Streets & Water Street SW.

Bars &
Restaurants
Cantina Marina is a bar with a great open atmosphere
overlooking the river that's really just a few steps from our gate, the
same gateway.
We often drag our beat-up bodies to the Cantina for a
drink & chill out a bit after practice.
It's a cool place, and if you
catch a bunch of wet rats in their exercise clothing, that's likely us!.
Phillips Seafood Restaurant
A well established seafood restaurant
that offer both a buffet and dinning menu, down the street from us.
