2011 Fund Raising & Raffle Tickets InformationB

Buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win $1000, $750, or $250
Your ticket helps us get ever closer to getting a boat for the Club, and increase our activities and services we offer to the community.

As of the start of 2011 season, we are very close to being able to buy a boat.
This raffle ticket fund-raising round will help us break through the boat-buying amount and get the first competition standard (IDBF) boat for the Club.

Buy one or a few for yourself, and some more for as gifts. Then, when the boat arrives, come down & paddle with us!

Raffle Jan-May Tickets

Tickets are $10 each, with the following prizes:

  1st  Prize $1000
  2nd Prize $  750
  3rd Prize  $  250

Drawing will be held at the end of day 1 of racing, during or after the the award ceremony on Saturday, 29th May at the DC Dragon boat Festival.

The club wins because it can purchase boats & equipments to better its activities & services.

Frieda Unger, of Hampstead Maryland    -- Congratulations, Frieda!

Frieda's ticket was a gift from her husband, who bought it while at the Bowie Farmer's market from a club member, Brian McLaughlin. Congratulations to Brian as well, for having sold the lucky ticket!

All ticket holder are welcome to join us during our season, to resume in April 2009 for a fun paddling session.
